Koroit Nut-Center gemstone

Wow! This is one of my all-time favorite stones,it is just beautiful! If it does’nt sell,I’ll gladly keep it for myself. This stone is mostly Opal set in very hard dark red Ironstone. There is still a layer of the Ironstone covering most of the back,and one side,but if you look real close,there is a tiny window of stunning Opal peeking through in one small spot. You really have to wonder what lies just beneath it.To cut,or not to cut,that is the real question! I didnt have the heart to do it. Didnt want to take the chance. The Opal is multi-colored in pastel tones,a lot of green and a good bit of pink as well,though the camera didnt catch it. 35mmx27mmx8mm,16 grams.
