his item contains 70 grams (approx 2.46 oz) of beach sand from Hatoma Island, Okinawa Japan.  This is the sand we got when we sorted out the star shaped sand, so the sand in this package includes broken star sand, natural beach sand, tiny beach stones and broken seashells.  It may include some tiny star shaped sand, but if you need star shaped sand, please purchase it from our listing. The coin is just for scale (not included in this item).  Please note: It has been washed with sea water then dried in the sun so it does smell like sea water, which is NOT a pleasant smell for most people.
